Les Langberg

Founder & CEO

Les Langberg’s career has been diverse but in all cases he has been a trusted business advisor and marketing strategist to all the CEO’s, Presidents and senior marketing executives he’s counseled.

In 1989, Les founded Langberg & Co., a consulting firm specializing in Integrated Go-To-Market StrategiesTM that are guided by a trademarked discipline which has continually proven to Unearth Profitable Revenue and identify obstacles inhibiting growth.

Les and his team have harvested value for their clients through: (1) Sales force and distributor productivity and efficiency; (2) Channel development and effectiveness; (3) Strategic marketing (customer insights, new or existing market and product penetration); (4) Factory-to-customer due diligence and (5) Conducting and converting research findings to marketplace strategies.

The company has two core business segments; consulting and market research. Their clients include Hallmark, Crayola, CSX, Sprint, American Standard, Mannington Mills, Cook Compression, Ariel Compressors and Michelin – virtually all leaders in their respective industries.

In 1984 Les formed Black, Gillock and Langberg, helping to build the full service agency into a 50 million dollar business serving national and regional clients.  As the managing partner in charge of marketing, media and research, Les worked with clients in a manner which gained their trust and respect as an innovative strategic thinker and business partner.

In 1982, after serving as Vice President of Marketing for McFaddin Ventures, a national hospitality and real estate development company, Les made a shift from the client to consulting side of the business where he served as Vice President, Marketing for a regionally based marketing, advertising and public relations firm. Les began his career with Benihana of Tokyo in the 1970’s and was involved in the development and marketing of 44 restaurants in 30 markets.

Keenly aware of profitability, Les always approaches solutions with an eye toward the bottom line.  As a result, his clients call upon him to evaluate and brainstorm business opportunities from a perspective that combines his marketing savvy and business acumen.

His breadth of consumer, retail and business-to-business management and marketing expertise has been instrumental in developing ways to innovatively position and reposition his client’s services and products.

Les is an honors graduate of Boston University’s College of Communications.  He has served as an adjunct professor at universities in Florida and Texas, served as a speaker at national conventions, an instructor for Junior Achievement and lectured to various business groups.  Les served as a Guardian ad Litem, representing abused and neglected children. Les has three incredible children and resides in West Palm Beach, Florida.
